It's Never Too Late to Love

Inge lives with her husband Werner in a rented apartment in Berlin-Schonefeld. Only Inge's occasional tailoring work brings the 30-year marriage out of its retirement rut. During her work, Inge meets the widower Karl. When she brings him a pair of shortened trousers, it happens: she rediscovers her sexuality with Karl and suddenly feels what has been lost in her long life with her husband Werner. At first, she returns to her old life. She feels too old for a new beginning. She mistrusts her sudden feelings and shies away from the consequences. But the one-time slip-up quickly turns into a long-term affair with tragic consequences.
