What's Up Doc?

A fictional biography of Bugs Bunny as a struggling artist who rose to fame. Bugs realizes early in life that he is a rabbit navigating a human-dominated world. During his childhood, he demonstrates skills as a pianist and a ballet dancer. He decides on following a career as an actor and singer in early adulthood, but he finds himself relegated to chorus roles in Broadway productions. He is eventually offered a leading role in a show due to the sudden illness of its star, but he is considered an inferior replacement and he gets dismissed from the stage. Unwilling to return to chorus roles and unable to secure other gigs, Bugs finds himself homeless, living in a park with other unemployed actors. The vaudeville star Elmer Fudd is in search of a new sidekick. He has seen Bugs' previous performances and thinks that the rookie has potential, choosing Bugs as his new sidekick. Bugs is soon frustrated that he is the recipient of Elmer's jokes and that he gets regularly humiliated on stage to amuse the audience. He decides to retaliate during a show, resulting on an on-stage fight with Elmer. The audience thinks that the fight is part of their act and they get more laughs than usual. Several hit shows later, the comedy duo are offered film contracts by Warner Bros. In the present, Bugs returns to the studio for his next acting role. He is frustrated that he has been cast as a chorus boy in a film, performing his role with a sour expression.
