Plot
Storyline
Tula was the leader of the big slave uprising on the island of Curacao, a Dutch colony in 1795. The story of a man who stood up against his oppressors leading his people in a peaceful march for freedom, equality and brotherhood.

Tula The Revolt is an international production about the leader of the Slave Revolt of 1795 on the island of Curacao, which at the time fell under the rule of the Republic of the United Netherlands. It tells the true story of a man who had the courage to stand up against his oppressors and who tried to give his people back their freedom in a non-violent way.
