As the long-standing rivalry between ENCOM and Dillinger Systems intensifies, a new team of software engineers sets the pace for the next AI revolution. In a world after Tron (1982), Eve Kim, the successor to visionary game creator Kevin Flynn, and shady CEO Julian Dillinger compete for the hidden Permanence Code, each with radically different goals. After all, the hunt for the critical source code will not only determine the future of both companies but also expand the digital frontier into the physical realm.
