Plot Storyline

After he begins to grow fins and slimy scales on his thirteenth birthday, Cody learns that his birthmother is a mermaid.

When Cody Griffin turns 13, things are going well: he is a star swimmer, a girl named Sam shows interest in him, and he has a supportive family. Then, as he discovers that he might be turning into a fish; he also discovers who his true friends are.
