The Tell-Tale Heart

A nervous man is compelled to tell the story of the old man who lived in an old house. The old man did nothing to threaten or directly scare the narrator, but nonetheless the younger man was eerily transfixed by the older man, who was the cause of his nervousness. He figured out that there was something about the old man's milky white eyes. But there was something about the old man even more ominous. If the younger man did what he was thinking about doing to stop that ominous presence, he may not have gotten the end result that he wanted, but rather be haunted for eternity.
