The Return of the Dancing Master

Detective Stefan Lindman has just buried his father and wants to thank his retired former colleague Herbert Molin for his wreath, but Molin has been murdered. Distinctive bloodstains on his floorboards resemble a series of dance steps. The local police chief Rundstrom is in charge of the case, but he proves to be a sloppy detective. Lindman takes up his own investigation. He quickly realizes that he apparently did not know his longtime friend very well. Why did Molin change his name some time ago? And why was his house being watched from a raised hide? The real estate agent Elsa Berggren, from whom Molin bought the house, apparently had a closer relationship with him, but she remains silent about it. The neighbor David Andersson is also not very talkative and suddenly becomes very nervous during the conversation. Andersson couldn't stand Molin. However, Lindman is unable to find out the reason for this animosity, because Andersson is also brutally murdered. While his colleagues search for a connection between the crimes, Lindman rummages through Molin's house again and comes across old documents that identify his friend as a staunch old Nazi. With the help of his colleague Giuseppe Larsson, Lindman uncovers a brown network that includes Molin's likable daughter Veronica - and even his own father was a member of this organization. Only Molin's murder remains a mystery.
