Plot Storyline

The life of a tax collector who is accused of taking bribes, and also has to deal with other problems at home, including the suicide attempt of his wife.

One of the works by the great Kiarostami prior to revolution. A plot similar to "A Separation". A middle class young family struggling between personal relationships and financial problems. An intellectual interpretation of the daily struggle of the middle class Iranian family in the 1970s.
