Plot Storyline

Luxembourg Airport. Late in the evening. A veiled 16-year-old Iranian girl is frightened to take her red suitcase on the automatic carpet. She keeps pushing back the moment to go through the arrival gate and seems more and more terrified.

Not knowing what to expect, sad-eyed Ariane sets foot in Luxembourg International Airport for the first time. And as the inexperienced teen in a hijab waits for her luggage at the baggage reclaim area, ominous uncertainty ratchets up the tension. Now, unwanted intrusive thoughts and deep fear have taken hold of her. Suddenly, panic sets in. What if the young Iranian gets caught? But first things first. What's inside Ariane's precious red suitcase?
