Before turning his high-powered shotgun on himself, Luke Hadler kills his wife and child. Now, to attend his childhood friend's funeral, Federal Agent Aaron Falk returns to his dusty, water-deprived hometown of Kiewarra, forced to deal with the ghosts of the past twenty long years after the horrible incident that shocked the entire community.
