Plot:
Eddie leads a band of career criminals comprised of Sammy and Jojo, who split everything three ways in being equal partners. Eddie's girlfriend June knows about the crimes and supports them. They have just committed what Eddie believed was a foolproof bank robbery, and while none of them were caught, it did not go off according to plan if only due to a fluke of coincidence. Musing about committing a similar bank robbery with the human factor taken out of the equation such as with robots, Eddie stumbles upon what he believes is the next best thing: dogs, more specifically Dobermans who would be trained to do exactly what he wants including attack and kill if need be. Knowing nothing about dogs, he finds a trainer in Barney, who did such work in the military and only with German Shepherds. Barney is initially not to be told about the crime but will eventually have to be told in he needing to train the dogs to do specific "bank robbery" tasks, with Eddie certain he has a way for even a straight arrow like Barney to agree to cooperate. While Eddie's plan is for the dogs to do everything directly with the robbery, there are still some human wild cards, most specifically Barney, and the other being June who is as integral component of the dogs' care and training, but who may not be seen by the others as worthy of an equal cut especially in they perhaps viewing her as part of Eddie's share.
