The Day Before Christmas

Nia runs a catering business and is facing a hectic time leading up to Christmas. Rashaad is trying to establish himself as a photographer and is also extremely busy before the holidays. On Christmas Eve, their respective children are supposed to go on a school trip, but both Nia and Rashaad end up missing the bus. As a result, they find themselves stranded together with their kids, all while they each have a packed schedule for the day. As if that weren't enough, they also accidentally swap backpacks containing items crucial for their respective jobs. What follows is a hectic day in which they try, from a distance, to help each other still deliver what they're supposed to.
