The Claw and the Tooth

In East Africa, animal species of extraordinary variety coexist, mingle, and examine each other with indifference. Everything is nothing but an immense movement for food. When night falls, another world appears, organized by blood and death. Everything is now a struggle or a dodge. Movements become flights, pursuits, leaps, collapses, while stillness becomes waiting, watching, and worrying. Thus revealed, the nocturnal world breaks with the long continuity of day.
