Plot:
In Paris, Jean Reynaud is a wealthy engineer that owns a factory and is in a loveless marriage with Danielle Reynaud. He is a wolf, having a love affair with Helene Valmont, who is the wife of his friend, Eng. Valmont. When Jean sees Nicole Perrier, who has just rented the penthouse of his apartment building, he puts his eyes one her. Soon Nicole becomes his mistress, and Jean learns that Nicole is abused by her boyfriend Klaus. They travel on vacation to forget Klaus, but out of the blue he appears, and they decide to return to Paris. During the night, Klaus breaks in Nicole's apartment, Jean arrives and is stabbed by Klaus. What will happen next?
