Plot Storyline

The Head Abbot chooses Rock to oversee the Temple and 4 disciples whom he is considering as the next Abbot. But Rock gets set up. The hired prostitute gets betrayed and Rock saves her. Meanwhile, the Manchus begin killing all the monks. Four escape, 3 get captured and the other finds Rock. They go in to rescue their friends.

Jouan appears to be a dedicated Volumeiple of Shaolin Temple but is really a Manchu spy. As the favorite to succeed the Temple Master, he cannot stand competition from Rock, a true Volumeiple. So Jouan arranges for a prostitute to be found in Rock's room, thereby causing his banishment. Jouan continues plotting and becomes Master, according to the plan.
