Plot
Storyline
A weak, dyslexic boy is bullied in school. His Tarzan obsessed dad calls him Rubber Tarzan. He makes a friend in crane driver Ole, who tells him: There's always something, you're good at. You just have to know what it is.
Having no one to turn to for advice, introverted, sensitive eight-year-old pupil Ivan Olsen is constantly picked on in school for being unable to stand up for himself. Then, convinced that he is no match for the cruel classroom bullies, lonely Ivan has a chance encounter with kindly, compassionate crane operator Ole, and just like that, the boy strikes up an unexpected friendship. Now, Ivan has to start believing in himself to save what's left of his crushed self-confidence. But there must be something Ivan shines at. The question is, will the bullied rubber Tarzan discover it in time?
