Royal-ish

Lacey Pope, a psychology graduate, is at a crossroads. She has worked for seven years as Princess Sweet Pea at Virginia's Emerald Park, a theme park focusing on fairy tales. It is a job which she loves in making children happy, but she's soon to be aged out of such roles into the older motherly roles, which are generally evil, something she does not want to do in not making children happy, hence her thoughts of possibly going back to school for a graduate degree. At one of the Princess Sweet Pea teas at the park, she meets an adolescent calling herself Princess Caitriona Rose of Bella Moritz, who is accompanied by her father. Obvious to Lacey that the girl is troubled by something in her life, the young girl and "Princess Sweet Pea" make a connection in Lacey quelling some of her fears. Subsequently, Lacey learns that the young girl is indeed who she said she was, her father Prince Henry of Bella Mortiz. Both Henry and Rose are too at crossroads in their lives in possibly assuming new royal duties. Henry's mother, Queen Eloise, is thinking about abdicating, but she is hesitating in believing Henry always distracted with other issues in not being committed to the traditions that would go along with being king. With Rose, Henry, seeing the connection, decides to offer Lacey a three-week temporary job in Bella Moritz of assisting Rose to overcome the fear of riding a horse, something required of her in an imminent procession. Henry and Rose assuming those new royal duties are dependent on Lacey getting Rose over that fear. In the process of Lacey's job, Lacey and Henry mutually fall for each other. But can a real life prince and a theme park princess have a happily ever after in real life?
