Rock Paper Scissors

In paying off his debt to the organization, Vincent works for a Chinese triad based in Montreal, he who may have made a mistake in letting his primary contact in the triad, Muffin, know that he feels he has paid off his debt in wanting to get out. What he doesn't mention is that his waitress girlfriend, Clara, about who the triad does not know, is about to have a child. Another working for the triad is Normand, who collects and delivers "the merchandise" to Vincent who prepares it for use. On his latest trip up north to collect the latest delivery, Normand meets Boucane (roughly translating into English as Smoky), a young indigenous man wanting a better life in Montreal. In asking Smoky if he wants a one time only job to drive to Montreal, Normand is up front in implying that he is making a criminal delivery, Smoky accepting the job. In the process, Smoky's curiosity in wanting this one time lucrative and seemingly painless and thus low risk job to parlay into something more permanent may get the better of him. Meanwhile, Muffin is looking to recruit someone else for a dangerous task. Who he finds is an elderly poor Italian immigrant named Lorenzo Fumetti who is collecting scrap metal to pay for what to him is an important end of life mission. Lorenzo is unaware of what he is being asked to do until it may be too late.
