As Tom and Detective Dan Cleary investigate, suspicion falls on Summer's boyfriend Will Grady, her estranged husband Sam Gifford, and local troublemaker Eli Phillips. Evidence appears to point toward a straightforward solution, yet Tom remains unconvinced. With support from his wife Judy, he continues pulling at loose threads that connect powerful figures, hidden business interests, and troubling inconsistencies.
