Pornomochi

Pornomochi is a story set in the backdrop of kolkata and it reveals a teenager boy getting addicted to pornography just like every second man in the crowd. The problem arises when he fails to differentiate between the two worlds, the fantasy and the reality and it starts affecting the interpersonal relationships leading to social crisis in his life!. The story reaches an unopened chapter when the protagonist discovers a pen drive in his deceased father's kept away box. His yearning curiosity unravels history where he finds out some intimate video clips of his father with a woman . He starts hating his late father, at the same time, an irresistible attraction is grown up for the woman with whom he starts having sex in fantasy. The story gets a twist when the protagonist's mother divulges a hidden truth about his late father, the teenager son's world is shattered!!. What happens next? The film deals with Oedipus complex courageously for the first time in Bengali cinema. The word 'Pornomochi' stands for signifying the tree that sheds its dead leaves and grows with green ones towards a new life with a new beginning shedding all turbulent past behind.
