Plot
Storyline
A letter from a young boy leads an official tree-locator to a small town where she is forced to confront what she has been missing at Christmastime.
Farmboy Joey McNary, 8, sweetly writes to Holly "Miss Christmas" Khun, the official tree-finder for Chicago's renowned Radcliffe Tree-lighting, when he learns via TV that she hasn't found one yet this year, to report that he knows where the perfect one stands: in his Christmas-obsessed hometown of Klaus, Wisconsin. But Joey's family Sam refuses to consider parting with the tree, his most tangible link to his late mother, another Christmas enthusiast. Grandpa George decides to let both sides argue their case. As Holly drags Sam into the festival business, they get romantic feelings, and each reconsiders his/her position, but Holly's job is on the line.
