A down-on-his-luck veteran, James, must embark on a chaotic road trip from Idaho to California. His employer for the mission is the insufferably optimistic dreamer, Matt, who drags along his cranky, no-nonsense grandfather, Norman. As detours, mishaps, and clashing personalities turn their journey into a disaster-filled adventure, the trio must learn to navigate not just the open road, but their own fears, regrets, and disappointments.
