Microcosmos

An hour and a quarter on an unknown planet--an ordinary meadow somewhere in France. Here, fantastic creatures hide in the grass: an impassable green jungle with dewdrops as big as balloons. Immersed in the hustle and bustle of the insects, we observe them in their daily activities during an eventful summer day. As we watch, time takes on an entirely different meaning: an hour becomes a day, days become seasons, and a year lasts as long as a lifetime.
