Makkhee Choos

Wealthy miser Maiklal lives in Bombary with his wife Champa and son Narayan, a stage artist in love with his co-worker Lakshmi. When Lakshmi's father passes away, she finds out that his death was indirectly related to Maniklal's refusal to lend him Rs.1000/-, so she decides to avenge her father's death. Before she can contemplate how to go about this, they find out that Maniklal has passed away. Narayan goes to attend the funeral but finds his father very much alive and agitated because the media had publicized his death, resulting in a host of greedy relatives descending on his household, hoping to get some cash from his widow. He forces them to live in the stables and instructs his servant to ill-treat them so they will leave. At that point Lakshmi and Narayan don disguises, abduct Maniklal, and hold him for ransom. Watch how he handles this situation, as well as unfolds plans to re-marry a much-younger woman and arrange Narayan's marriage to the daughter of a wealthy businessman from Rangoon.
