Little Flowers

Little Flowers is a heartfelt indie film about Nova, a young guitarist who visits the Washington D.C. Cherry Blossom Spring Festival, two years after the loss of his girlfriend, Valentina. Surrounded by the beauty of blooming cherry blossoms and soothing guitar and flute melodies, Nova reflects on his time with Valentina and struggles to cope with her absence. The movie also shows how Valentina's life touched so many others - her African American neighbors, seniors from her work place, the Loudoun County Senior Center, her Mexican friend Lucas, Nova's autistic band mate Oliver, and her grieving mother. Each of them misses her deeply, sharing stories and memories of the love and joy she brought to their lives. Inspired by real events, Little Flowers is a story about love, loss, and the beautiful memories that stay with us forever. Filmed during the 2024 Cherry Blossom Spring Festival in Washington D.C., the movie reminds us of how love can leave a lasting impact.
