Soul Mates

As a French soldier in Mali, young David is seriously injured in an explosion and taken to the Invalides Hospital in Paris. A week later, he wakes up from a coma in the presence of his sister Jeanne. Initial relief is followed by a shocking realization: David is suffering from memory loss and no longer recognizes Jeanne. In addition to the lengthy process of physical rehabilitation, the young man must reacquire his memory and relearn everything from scratch. His relationship with Jeanne is put to the test, as his amnesia also causes behavioral disorders: David is aggressive and wants to forget all memories of the war. At home in the Pyrenees, brother and sister must embark on a painful journey of starting over. However, David refuses to face his past, making it difficult for Jeanne and himself to turn over a new leaf.
