Kate's Addiction

Set in the quaint Ocean Park neighborhood of Santa Monica, California, Kate's Addiction is a psychological thriller for the changing moral landscape of the 90's. Kate (28) (Kari Wuhrer) is wildly obsessed with her former college roommate and best friend, Sara (29) (Farrah Forke). Arriving in Santa Monica, Kate meets Sara's new boyfriend, Dylan (32) (Matthew Porretta) and his younger brother, Ezra (26) (Matt Borlenghi). When Kate discovers Dylan's plan to propose marriage, she unleashes a web of lies and deception, seducing Sara under a haze of drugs and alcohol. Kate's infatuation escalates into a twisted addiction of murder and betrayal that employs a final plot twist which is sure to catch audiences off guard. Written, produced and directed by Eric DelaBarre, Kate's Addiction is a contemporary thriller in the style of Fatal Attraction (1987) and Single White Female (1992).
