Kamikaze '89

1989, Germany as a future state: the country appears pacified, has no social problems, no air pollution. Alcohol is banned. All power lies with a family-owned corporation that controls the media and the state authorities and thus manages to maintain a semblance of peace for a long time. Until one day the corporation receives a bomb threat and the eccentric policeman Jansen - whose trademark is a leopard suit - comes on the scene. His job is to solve the case. Although he is an alcoholic, he enjoys a reputation as a successful, almost obsessive investigator. Highly motivated, he sets to work and his research quickly leads him straight to the company headquarters. Various clues point to a mole, a perpetrator from within the ranks of the company. The CEO's nephew is the first suspect. Using questionable methods, Jansen is able to prove his innocence, but is unable to save the man from death. Other suspects include a TV presenter, a former employee, the HR manager, who soon also becomes a murder victim, and the management assistant. At first, Jansen doesn't know what to do. He delves deeper and deeper into the abyss of the company and ends up tracking down not only the perpetrator, but also completely different machinations.
