Plot
Storyline
Seaside (nowhere near the sea), puppeteers Judy and Punch are trying to resurrect their marionette show in an an anarchic town on the brink of mob rule.
A dark fairy tale style story about a puppet theatre in a small town set in a period of history that is indeterminable but visually hand in hand with the tales of Grimm and Hans Christian Anderson. Real-life Punch and Judy run a puppet show for a village of superstitious inhabitants who enjoy the torment of anyone they believe to be a witch. A dark and clever reworking of a story we all thought we knew.
