Picking up where the Lamberts' nightmare in Insidious (2010) left off, The Further's sinister darkness seems to have laid roots in the family's life, refusing to let go. As a result, spine-chilling paranormal instances continue to plague Josh and Renai as their past invites a fresh wave of vengeful spirits hungry for their lives and souls. With Elise out of the way, the haunted Lamberts must return to where it all began and look evil in the eye to break the supernatural link that keeps them imprisoned.
