Inheritance

Two Filipina-American sisters return home to California for Christmas. They announce their plans to make their first pilgrimage to the Philippines, hoping this trip will reconnect them to their Filipino heritage. Three generations are confronted with the consequences of the pressure to assimilate to American society, and grapple with their failure to pass down a culture that never really felt theirs to begin with.
