Plot
Storyline
After a new dog owner decides on which dog to buy at the pet store, this short soon becomes a lesson in how NOT to train a dog.
Another in the series of comedic shorts from MGM with humorist Robert Benchley this time as a man who, when passing a pet shop window, buys not one but an armful of dogs to take home as pets. From such instruction as choosing your pet wisely, teaching him who is boss, winning the animals confidence and actually demonstrating how to roll over to his pet, Benchley is anything but successful. It soon becomes quite clear that the pets are training the owner, not the other way around.
