Happy Holidays from Cherry Lane

Following Christmas on Cherry Lane (2023) and Season's Greetings from Cherry Lane (2024), three more Christmas Eves are presented of the homeowners of 7 Cherry Lane. The Kramers are the homeowners in 1960, they, mother and father Penny and Eli, an at home hairdresser and bestselling book writer respectively, and their ten year old son Alex, are joined this Christmas Eve by Eli's retired engineer father, Walter Kramer, who is recovering at the house from a broken hip. There has always been a strain between Walter and Eli due to their differences in mentality, the numbers person and the artist, respectively. Their issues are only exacerbated as Eli is leading the charge to bury a Christmas time capsule in the back yard to be opened in seven years time so that Alex can see how much has changed or stayed the same in their Christmases. In 1998, ten year widowed high school principal Regina Johnston is spending this Christmas Eve on her own as she has told her two grown children not even to attempt to make it home due to the weather. But what cannot come in also jeopardizes what may go out as her goddaughter Ivy and her husband Hector are trying to fly to Michigan to spend Christmas with her parents. But an even more unexpected fourth is Nelson King, a contractor who heard from a professional plumber buddy that Regina needed a plumber in there being a "no water" issue of an unknown source at the house. As Nelson does what he can, he also ends up stranded due to mechanical issues with his truck. As Regina and Nelson spend time together this day, she may let her guard down for the first time in ten years, which has been difficult to do due to all the memories in the house associated to her deceased husband, Greg. And in 2015, divorced Jessie Watson will be attending her younger sister Beth Watson's wedding to boyfriend Max, Beth who has always been a Christmas fanatic hence the date and the Christmas/winter theme of the wedding. But a notice posted on the padlocked door of the wedding venue stating that they have been closed permanently by the IRS changes all the plans, especially as Beth and Max had already placed all their wedding supplies behind those padlocked doors. Jessie agreeing to have the wedding in a tent in her backyard only solves part of the problems. Beyond Beth still wanting the wedding she dreamed of and turning into a bridezilla to achieve it, what may cause Julie the biggest headache is learning that her first ever boyfriend Tim Whitman, who broke her heart upon high school graduation, is officiating the wedding, Tim, as the pastor, who Beth and Max are relying upon for his sage guidance in this trying time.
