Tucker Brennan is brilliantly working up to take over the family construction from from his widower father Mickey, who is about to retire and his an eye on widowed client Olivia. Playful lover Tucker overhears his fiancee, dentist Courtney Rydell, complain at the engagement party he isn't taking the wedding seriously enough. He now switches to efficient business mode, planning a perfect wedding into elaborate detail, marshaling everyone to the second, and volunteering to give he otherwise unavailable venue a free makeover. It's taxing for everyone, and the bride starts to feel neglected.
