Fort Apache the Bronx

The 41st Precinct Police Station in The Bronx is known by its patrolmen as "Fort Apache" due to the police station being like a safe fort in the middle of the dangerous, lawless wilderness that is The Bronx. One of these patrolmen is Murphy, a hard-nosed, cynical veteran, trying to get by day-to-day. The station has a new commander, Captain Connolly, who believes a tougher, more aggressive line needs to be taken with the criminal element in the community. Murphy is not convinced.
