Plot:

An adaptation from Shakespeare play "Henry IV" but taking place in the Northeast of Brazil during the Cangaco era. Faustao is a leader of a group of bandits (cangaceiros) who intervenes in the battle between two important families (Pereira and Araujo) after saving a member of one of the groups and demand a ransom.
