Fado

Young German ER doctor Fabian is exhausted by hospital work and fears a relapse in his substance abuse. Seeking a new start, he moves to Lisbon, hoping to resume his relationship with his ex Doro(thea). She hesitates, ends up taking him in her home for a while, they enjoy sex, but their past catches up. Fabian scales down his medical ambition to working for a free clinic and ambulances charity, but can't concentrate due to his personal problems and is bullied over not sticking to petty rules, albeit in patients interests. Doro viciously reproaches him anything tat hints of jealousy, which wrecked their first union, even throws him out. But he soon finds her relationship with Portuguese doctor Francisco is a serious rival, she even has quickies as with a hunky barman.
