The first 18 minutes are made completely like a live-action film - we find ourselves in the year 2050, where the Earth is overpopulated and people have drinking water and food on rations. Subsequently, the documentary delves into all the most crucial contemporary issues, such as overpopulation, ocean and soil acidification, mass species extinction, climate change, the impacts of the animal agriculture industry, deforestation, biodiversity loss, plastic pollution, overfishing, and other related human-caused disasters that Earth is facing. A significant portion of the documentary is also dedicated to solutions that each person can contribute to bring about change.
