Mia (17) wows hit music producer FASA (30s) at her high school talent contest and wins a recording contract, while her BFF/rival Lindsay (18) bombs. Encouraged by her mother Grace (40s), Mia's star rises-while Lindsay and her momager Ellen (40s), convinced Lindsay should have won, set out to destroy them both. When Fasa is found brutally murdered, all signs point to Mia. Grace, convinced Ellen is behind Fasa's death, must prove Mia's innocence before she spends the rest of her life in jail.
