The Little World of Don Camillo

In a small village in northern Italy, two men are at odds with each other: Reverend Don Camillo (Fernandel), the temperamental priest with the loose fists, and his no less belligerent arch-enemy Peppone (Gino Cervi), mayor and leader of the "Reds". Both men pursue the same goal - to make the village and its inhabitants happy. However, their ideas of happiness are fundamentally different. Nevertheless, the two cannot live without each other. Whether it's building a community center or caring for the cows during a farm workers' strike: when it comes down to it, the two stick together.
