Dil-E-Nadaan

Vijay (Shatrugan Sinha) is the Managing Director and Anand (Rajesh Khanna) is the General Manager of a successful business. Sheela (Smita Patil), a widow is Anand's secretary, who has a fairly informal relationship with her boss, to the extent of mimicking his phone blown kisses. The object of Anand's attention is Asha (Jayapradha) a college student, and Sheela's best friend. Vijay tries to pick up Asha by offering her a lift, but she declines many a time - she is in love with Anand. Vijay's late dad and his mum had adopted Anand when he was a small boy, and the two grew up as brothers, and the closest of friends. When one of the women gets pregnant all bonds of love are shattered and an atmosphere of gloom, suspicion and deceit sets in. What will clear the atmosphere, and which of the two friends will Asha choose? The movie title translates to "honest soul".
