Derborence

This is the story of a man, Antoine, and a woman, Therese. She works in the village with her mother. He's on the mountain pasture tending the animals with his uncle Seraphin, whom he considers a bit like his father. One day, a landslide buries Antoine and Seraphin. Therese, pregnant, believes herself to be a widow, but Antoine reappears long afterwards. The two lovers have changed, she has become a mother without his knowledge, and their reunion is a difficult one.
