So Near the Horizon

Jessica (Luna Wedler) is a young, a little bit naive girl with the whole life ahead of her. Her life turns upside down the day she meets Danny (Jannik Schumann), a charming young American man. At first sight, Danny might seem like a man who has everything a man his age could wish for: a house, a car, a paying job, and thanks to his look he could get any girl he wanted if only he snapped his fingers. But everything is not what it seems. Danny must also carry a heavy burden from his childhood that marked him and prevents him from leading a normal life. Jessica and Danny must deal with the reality, but how does it affect their emerging relationship? And is their relationship even worth it if it was predestined to end since its beginning?
