A well-to-do German family mother Esther, father John and their two children Alba and Philipp spend the summer holidays in their villa in the south of France. Everything seems perfect. But the facade begins to crumble one evening when, following an accident on a country road, they take in a young woman and hire her as a maid. Behind the family's initial willingness to help, other motives soon emerge: each family member has their own idea of how they want to take advantage of the woman. But this is a serious mistake that they will soon come to regret and which will dramatically change the life of the entire family because Teodora has an agenda of her own.
