A very beautiful and highly unexpected performance by Knoxville. Johnny brought everything to the table, sweet, clean, poinignt, funny, sad, emotional and a truly flawless and captivating performance. I honestly felt Johnny should've received an Oscar and was overlooked due to his Jackass reputation. Coming from someone that is only a so so fan of Jackass. Hopefully in the future people will see the film and come to appreciate and respect him. It took a lot of courage in his breakout role with such depth in the character and Johnny was amazing. Juliette Lewis was funny, sweet, and her usual brilliant self with flawless comedic timing as well as the depth to her character. On the whole, it was cast beautifully, never lagged, and kept me engaged through the whole movie. I hope there's a re-release on a monumental level as people need to see this gorgeously written picture by Bronson who was absolutely stunning in her role. I'm a bigger fan of Johnny since I saw the movie upon it's opening release and purchased the DVD to add to my library which means he gets Top Honors as I only purchase hard copies of movies that I truly love, otherwise I watch everything else online. Oscar Worthy!!! The Academy .... Well, what can I say???? They should be ashamed.
