Popular, easy-going Frederic cheerfully welcomes his 'black Kelly' (ironically now blonde too), who visits from New York, where she works in fashion, to see her ma, but finding her abroad is allowed to stay with him. They visit and reassemble their schooldays gang, minus one who committed suicide during her absence. Cruelly she tells loner Kurt she never even told him about their baby before having an abortion. Still all comes along with Niek, but given the tension some taunting about Kurt's virginity and Frederic's somewhat bossy, absent girlfriend Ingrid suffices for a rift. Still, the three boys reunite in a French road-trip down school excursion memory lane.
