Cautious farm-boy turned app executive Max finds his flight home by Denver canceled due to winter weather, likely to last. The same problem faces his former classmate Lina, an eternal optimist who makes a living 'fixing problems' out of the box, gifted at smooth talking. Reluctantly he lets her drag him along making their own way hiking and so on, even allowing her to compromise their chances by agreeing for both of them to help others, not just his long-semi-estranged farmer cousin Daryl. It becomes a long and adventurous journey, especially when she rushes them on a cattle train Missouri, doubling the distance. Despite constant bickering, Cupid makes these opposites meet.
