Two men, separated by two continents, are being drawn together by undefined forces. Jon Hill, a stoic security agent for a global energy company in the U.S. is investigating multiple abductions linked to the oil industry around the world. One of these cases includes Ernesto Sandoval, an idealistic research scientist for the National Energy Agency in Venezuela.
