Cher Horowitz, a wealthy and popular high school student in Beverly Hills, spends her time navigating the complexities of teenage social hierarchies and orchestrating the love lives of her peers and teachers. When a new student joins her school, Cher takes it upon herself to initiate a makeover and play matchmaker for her. As her well-intentioned schemes yield unforeseen complications, Cher faces challenges in her own personal life that force her to reevaluate her perceptions of others.
