Plot
Storyline
The second part of the Chihayafuru trilogy follows Chihaya's team as they prepare for the national championship after the Tokyo tournament, but she is saddened to learn her childhood best friend has quit Karuta.
Following the karuta tournament in Tokyo in the prequel, Chihaya's team is ready for national championship. However, Chihaya is disappointed to hear that a childhood best friend from whom she drifted apart has quit the game. She pours her time and energy into training for the nationals, but in the process sacrifices a lot within and without.
